As Antony’s haunted clarinet of a voice found the thermals of lines about finding his “pure power", the lights and set began to work with his otherworldly talent. From clunky beginings the lasers wove their way into spectral meditations. Gracefully reflecting Hegarty’s environmental message, the set shifted through sulphourous yellows and cherry blossom pinks. Perfect for lines about “parlours” of trees and a sun “playing crystal” with the eyes. |
