The kitchen is still exposed but more disciplined. The staff are wonderful. (Our waitress was a synchronised swimmer in the Olympics. I’m not joking.) Look, if I said the menu wasn’t arranged pretentiously, I’d be lying, but that’s just the way the hipsters do things nowadays, all “fish/meat/vegetables” rather than starters/mains/sides. It was extremely inviting, most of it, and that, in the end, is what’s important. |
