I’m curious what you think about my latest fixation. I’m convinced that it would be best for everyone if charitable donations were no longer tax-deductible. If people want to donate to charity, they should. If they want to put on scavenger hunts, they should. If people are donating money to charity, with no tax benefit, then they will be a lot more concerned about results. And less likely to dodge taxes while doing things they want to do anyway, like go to fancy society dinners or scavenger hunts. |
