Free trade does create dislocations to the economy, but I창��혲m of the opinion it works out for the better over time. A former consulting client of mine is a global engineering and construction company. This company employs tons of engineers, draftsmen, project managers, and other highly paid workers to design and build the airports, roads, bridges, dams and other pricey infrastructure projects these emerging economies are now buying. Twenty years ago, this company had very few such projects in these countries and a lot fewer employees. |
