Our destination was the airfield at Compton Abbas, situated high on the downs and with a commanding view over the surrounding countryside. Our arrival was signalled by the F-type’s crackling exhaust as we downshifted into the car park, but it was the recently landed Wildcat that was commanding the attention of most of those on site. |
