When we got Tigger as a kitten we lived in East Sussex. One day he didn’t come home and after about a week we had just about given up on him. Then late one night we heard crying at the back door, and there on the step was Tigger in an awful state. All the skin on his back was gone and one of his back legs was smashed at the hip. The vet didn’t hold out much hope, but gave him antibiotics and said he could amputate his leg if he survived. Survive he did. The skin grew back and he swung his back leg much like a crutch. |
