Now, I set up all my most important business contacts as VIPs, so that I don’t miss their emails. I have trained my two key business partners – both fond of firing off the dreaded one-liners – to restrict themselves to one, bullet-pointed email twice a day (with all points mentioned in the subject box). But nevertheless, many random emails come in during the course of a day/ week which are worthy of attention/ consideration/ response – and almost in the blink of an eye, they’ve been shuffled down the inbox and out of sight, to make way for others. |
