The Citizens United decision a scant four years ago has already rewarded the largest companies beyond anyone’s imagination, albeit at the expense of households and their incomes and of smaller companies, too. Concentration of wealth is paying SCOTUS for its judicial activism, and there’s no reason to predict anything but greater haste undeciding 20th century decisions – much as congressional Republicans newly insist undoing a law at any later date should become allowable procedure. (Failing to notice it is complete undoing of anything resembling institutional process.) |
