Your task in the demo levels shown at June's Electronics Entertainment Expo was to collect as many pieces of fruit within each level and get those pieces of fruit back to the ship, but you won't accomplish this by yourself. Instead, you'll control the Pikmin, completely submissive, Lemming-esque creatures that respond when you blow your whistle. Available in a handful of varieties, they follow the spaceman around, until he assigns a bunch of them here to carry, say, a cherry back to the spaceship, or sends a bunch of them there to eat away at a wall blocking his path. |
