| I'm unemployed http://damplips.in.net/ damplipss But society is quick to condemn any focus on our sexual dimensions, leaving many women confused. We should either bury ourselves in our books or wear our sex on our sleeves. How are we supposed to strike that delicate balance between not being a slut and feeling empowered about our femininity? Is there only one definition of what femininity means and how it’s to be exhibited and explored? Should we feel proud of the physiological traits and behaviours that set us apart from men; should we focus on them at all? I know that reading the reactions to “Blurred Lines” made me feel ashamed for dwelling on the subject at all, a sentiment I am sure feminists everywhere would never consciously intend. |
