Please call back later http://redtube.in.net/ redtude  The same is true of plain-clothes cops. I have met an awful lot of policemen since I started writing crime fiction and not one of them has ever looked different from people in other jobs. They tend to be a bit formal, literal-minded, and cautious in the way they speak. They are also consciously PC because police training now is precisely that. They’re aware of human and minority rights, they try very hard never to appear racist, sexist or homophobic – because in the past, coppers had a reputation for being all of those things and the forces have made a concerted effort to stamp out prejudice. (This may be rather more true of police forces in the UK and Western European countries. If you live in and/or are writing about police in other parts of the world, things may be different and you should check out local and national circumstances carefully.)
