However, when a lone gunman goes on the rampage in the town where Whitehead grew up, he is forced to return and report on the place where, 20 years previously, he and his family were hounded out after a fatal chemical accident at his father’s factory. My first impression of Kinnear proves to be way off beam, and as we sit in armchairs in the darkened PR studio, his cogent, deeply considered thoughts make our meeting seem more like an academic seminar. |
